形態特徵

Aquatic perennial herbs with slender stolons ending in tubers.
Leaves sheathing at base; blade sagittate, 5-7 nerved, apex acuminate, lateral lobes usually longer than midlobe.
Inflorescence a raceme, sometimes branched at base; peduncle 40-70 cm long. Flowers in 3-5 whorls of 3, bracteate; pistillate flowers borne in lower whorls; pedicel 1-2 cm long; staminate flowers with longer pedicels, anthers yellow; sepals ovate, 6-8 mm long, reflexed; petals white, twice as large as sepals.
Achenes obliquely obtriangular, winged, beaked.

分布

台灣 : Paddy fields, ditches and ponds throughout.
世界 : Borneo, Java, the Philippines, mainland China, the Ryukyus and Japan.
